Entrecard
The latest method of blog advertising is Entrecard. I’ve read mentions of it over the last week or two but hadn’t signed up yet. Sign up only takes a couple of minutes. I didn’t have a 125×125 image handy to make the card for this blog, so for now am using one of their preloaded images. You’ll need to install the code for a widget somewhere, it is what calculates your points. See, Entrecard is advertising that works on a point system. The ads are 125×125 buttons placed in a widget anywhere you like in the hopes of gaining traffic. When a member goes to another member’s blog they drop their card automatically, just by visiting and both members get a point. If you want to sell an ad the charge will be double the amount of cards dropped on your blog widget that day. Ads run for 24 hours. I’ve been reading some good stuff about this method of advertising. I’ve even seen some contests giving away points as the prize. I’m checking it out now. It’s in my far right sidebar. Are you using Entrecard? How’s it working out for you?
