How to change the author name in Wordpress

This article is to teach you how to change the author name within Wordpress, so that everything you write doesn’t list Admin as the author. I’ve come across a good number of blogs out there that are listed as written by Admin. If you’re new to Wordpress or just never realized you could make this change doesn’t matter as it’s easy to do. Log in to your Wordpress dashboard. Click on the Users link up at the top. If you’re the only one writing on your blog, click on the profile link. If more than one of you write on your blog, then find the author id you wish to change and click edit. In the field called nickname, enter the author name as you’d like it to appear when reading the blog. Click update. Go back into that same screen and select the name you’ve just entered from the pulldown menu where it says display name publicly as. That’s it!

    Good tip, I will check it out when I get home from work :) My other blog is on wordpress, It’s slightly similar in style to the blogger one. Good posts about wordpress on the whole.
