How to embed a video in a Wordpress post

WpvideoConfig

The first several times I tried to embed a youtube video inside a Wordpress post I had problems. My themes would go crazy and get knocked out of alignment, and some things disappeared from my blog completely. That’s when I did a little research and found the WPVideo plugin. To install it just download it to your hard drive and decompress it. Then,  upload the resulting wpvideo php file to the plugins directory of your blog. The next thing you’ll need to do is log in to your Wordpress dashboard and activate the plugin. Once activated, up in the options menu you’ll see another menu called WPVideo that will allow you to choose the options you wish to use, including things like title, author, description, date, duration, views and download link. To use it you simple place an open video tag (the word video between a left and right bracket) before your video link and a close video tag (a slash and the word video between a left and right bracket) after your video link. It’s super easy to use and works every time. let me know what you think of it.
