You can win a wii if you live in a Charter area

Thursday, March 6th, 2008

Click Here for a Chance to Win a Nintendo® Wii™! Charter area residents that visit this site and register are put into a drawing for a complete Nintendo wii video game console system. The wii will come with everything needed to play out of the box including the console, a stand, sports games, one remote, one nunchuk, one sensor bar, one ac adapter and one av cable. Now that’s a great prize, because the wii is a really fun and hot game system. It is the best video console idea yet in my opinion, because it’s fun for the entire family while promoting exercise and movement.

While at the site Charter area residents can participate in an auction. The item being auctioned is a lifetime of Charter high speed internet. Qualified residents, determined by zip code, that are 18 years or older can participate. It doesn’t matter if you are a current Charter customer or not if your zip code is within the specified areas. People that meet the geographic requirement can preregister to bid from yesterday March 5, 2008 through March 11, 2008. Bidding begins on March 12, 2008 and ends on March 26, 2008. The bids will start at $10, and there is no reserve.

Good luck to all, for both the wii and the lifetime high speed internet!

New hidden object game - Mystery Case Files Ravenhearst

Friday, November 9th, 2007

Well, thanks to my blogger friend Skeet , I have something else to do to keep me from getting anything around my house done. It’s called Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst.I picked this hidden object game up last week for about $1. It’s got many levels where you need to find hidden objects, and it also has mini games in between certain levels. One type of mini game in this game makes the player figure out how to solve a puzzle and unlock a door. It took me two days to open the first door. I’m doing a little better with it now, but it is challenging. I was up late last night playing it. I recommend it because it isn’t so easy that you’ll be done with it right away.

What seek and find computer games do you recommend?

Thursday, October 18th, 2007

Fellow blogger Skeet recently wrote about hidden objects games. I was familiar with the concept because my oldest son has a book full of pages with hidden objects. But I’d never played one on the computer and gone against time. After reading her post I was curious, so I found one that looked good. I downloaded Big City Adventure - San Francisco and immediately began my one hour free trial. I liked it a lot. At one point shortly after my youngest had gone to bed there were three of us (me, hubby and oldest son) huddled bear the monitor looking for things. I’m including a screenshot. If you like this type of game or are looking for a new type of game to try, check this one out. It’ll keep you busy. If you already play this type of game and enjoy it, please recommend some others to me.
